The Process
Taking impressions is a short, simple appointment — about 15 minutes, comparable to a routine ear cleaning.
- Consultation. We talk through what you play, where you play, and which model fits how you work.
- Otoscopic exam. We confirm your ear canals are clear and healthy. If there’s wax in the way, we’ll remove it first.
- Ear impressions. Soft silicone sits in your canal for a few minutes to capture the exact shape. Painless, and about 15 minutes start to finish.
- Manufacturing. Your impressions go to the manufacturer. Typical turnaround is about two weeks.
- Fitting. You come back in, we verify the seal and comfort, and show you how to insert, use, and care for them.
